Call Out Details:
2 walkers reported themselves lost in poor visibility having set off from the Cold Fell Road. Phonefind put them high up on the southern flank of Caw Fell. They started descending with guidance from MR, to lose height and generate warmth. A small team was sent out to find them.
Call Out Conclusion:
Although the team had a location, the misty conditions made the job difficult, but they were located by Searchdog Jess at NY103113, near the junction of Long Grain and Bleaberry Gill. At the time of the locate, she was 250m from the searching group on the other side of Long Grain Ghyll.
