Call Out Details:

A 19 year old female reported herself with stuck in steep ground with an injured ankle. She gave a grid reference, but her description of the location didn't match the grid reference. The Team then started a hasty search from Force Crag mine to the summit, with the assistance of Cockermouth MRT.

Call Out Conclusion:

She was found by a dog handler who heard her shouts from above the crags between the mine and the summit. The Team then treated her for injuries . It was decided that she would be best evacuated by helicopter, and a Coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon airlifted her to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
