Call Out Details:
Two walkers ascending Barf decided to take different routes up on a very hot day. One of them failed to turn up at the rendezvous point so the other called out Keswick MRT, after hearing shouts. After a hasty search of the two routes had been undertaken and failed to locate the misper, the coastguard helicopter and dogs were requested in the light of the gentleman's age and history. Search Dog Rona was tasked with searching the difficult scree area between "The Bishop" and the difficult gully.
Call Out Conclusion:
The gentleman turned up unhurt at his accommodation, having taken a somewhat different route ! All resources were then stood down.
