Call Out Details:
A walker reported himself lost after going up Scafell Pike, and then descending into Wasdale by mistake. He then compounded the error by getting lost again, by going across into Ennerdale, instead of going back to Seathwaite, and ending up at Black Sail. He was given directions which he managed to misinterpret, and ended up lost somewhere between Great Gable and Fleetwith Pike. Hill parties from Keswick & Cockermouth MRTs, and a dog from Keswick searched for him, but he failed to turn up.
Call Out Conclusion:
He turned up back at his car at Seathwaite the following morning, having failed to attract the attention of rescuers who he had seen with torches.
