Call Out Details:
Kendal Team were alerted to reports of a crashed paraglider above Arnside. The full dog team was called out to support a multi-agency response which included colleagues from the Coast Guard, Bay Search & Rescue, Police, Ambulance Service and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service.
Call Out Conclusion:
An extensive search of the area was carried out, supported by the Coast Guard helicopter. During the search information become available which suggested that this was a false alarm with good intent. The teams stood down.
