Call Out Details:
Couple called police and reported themselves lost and in difficulty navigating off the hill from Selside Pike. They were by a wall and at one point were
“stuck in bracken”. They had left their car at Mardale Head, got up Selside Pike ok but when trying to complete a circular route got lost and were unable to descend to the valley.
Call Out Conclusion:
Chris & Beck heard very faint shouts when not far above woodland and up to his ears in bracken! Continued up the fell hearing nothing more for 10 mins or so. Shout then heard again louder than the previous one. Chris & Beck located the couple, checked them over and them walked them from the hillside. A good conclusion.
