Call Out Details:
Two people reported themselves lost on "Rydal Mountain". Langdale Ambleside deduced form the infomation provided that they were probably on Nab Scar above Rydal. A group including Search Dog Ted was sent to search the area.
Call Out Conclusion:
The search was stood down after it transpired that the missing people had managed to get off the hill, and were in a car on their way to Manchester. It had not occurred to them to let the police know.
