Call Out Details:
Two persons camped overnight at the Bothy in Kershope Forest after leaving car at Kershope Bridge . The police received a message via roamer that they were lost, one had a leg injury and they’d run out of water – they gave no grid but did make reference to an area called Hollin 9507.
Call Out Conclusion:
The Team were despatched to Kershope Forest where the search dog and handler were tasked to search an area round Hollin Cleugh, whilst the vehicles checked out the forest roads. The mispers were found on a forest track within half an hour.
