Two walkers reported themselves lost in the area of High Cup Nick near to Appleby, overcome by darkness the pair called 999 but had limited signal for their map to work on their phone.
Call Out Conclusion:
Penrith MRT, along with Matt & Morag and Kirby Stephen MRT deployed to the hill to search for the pair.
It's hard to tell who found who... Matt heard voices and Morag was onto something. The pair reported that they could see and orange light zooming around in the distance.. It wasn't Matt zooming.. It was Morag!
The pair were located and safely brought down from the hill.
