A Duke of Edinburgh Award group failed to arrive at the last checkpoint of the day on a descent from Whernside. They were reported missing by their supervisor. Kendal Team, and Search Dogs Cuillin & Fern turned out to look for them.
Call Out Conclusion:
They turned up on the road not far from their destination, and were found by the supervisor's wife who was checking the local roads.
