Call Out Details:
A family group, including two teenage children, were reported as overdue on a walk from Seathwaite to Great Langdale. In view of the prevailing weather conditions which were forecast to worsen, a search of the route was instituted, along with any variations which might have been taken.
Call Out Conclusion:
After two hours, the group turned up unhurt at the Wasdale Head Hotel - about 4 km in the opposite direction. The teams then began to stand down - just as Incident 6 kicked off.
