Call Out Details:
A group of 5 walkers on Scafell Pike, a sub group of 130 participants involved in a charity event, got lost during the day, and were overdue when the rest of the group got down to Seatoller. The weather was extremely cold with a north east wind.
Call Out Conclusion:
Wasdale, Keswick, Duddon and Langdale Ambleside Teams, with search dogs searched the main exit routes from the hill. A Keswick Team member spotted the group off the path between Styhead and Stockley Bridge, and they were walked off safely.
