Call Out Details:
A group of four and their dog became stuck and benighted on the summit of Glaramara. Initially, Martin Bell and Search Dog Isla went out to locate them, and a small group of Team members and Search Dog Rona followed on in case further assistance was required.
Call Out Conclusion:
The casualties were where the SARLOC system had placed them, and they were escorted down to Mountain View Cottages.
(Note: Whilst the SARLOC system is usually very accurate, there have been occasions where the location differs, and of course it will not work where there is no smartphone in the party. It sometimes takes quite a time for the system to produce an answer - in this case the handler was well up the fell before the Team had a feed from the SARLOC system, hence the reason for sending a dog, as this will help if folk are not where they think they are!)
