Upper Wharfdale team requested assistance from Lakes for an extensive search to find a missing 74 year old walker in the Whernside area. The search lasted for three days, and involved multiple teams, dogs and helicopters.
Call Out Conclusion:
The missing gentleman was eventually found deceased a short distance outside the search area by a local farmer.
