In January the Lakes Search Dogs were training in the Loweswater area. Very mixed weather, rain, wind, mist and some sun.
Pre stage one dogs Dash and Misty worked on obedience with distractions, stays in and out of sight and also working amongst sheep. Misty and Matt passed their obedience test and now just have to go through the stock test.
Dash and Elly have already passed their stock test and just have the obedience test to complete.
Stage one dog team – Mike & Fjell had a mixed training weekend of some working areas and some obedience training, Fjell showed some great improvement over the weekend and Mike is doing well too 
Stage two dogs worked on bigger areas whilst maintaining their indication and learning some good manners.
We currently have no stage three dogs working.
Stage four dogs were helping their handlers assess the other dog teams in training but managed to get a run or two in at the end of the day to get all the bodies back.
Trailing dog Broch with handler Benny worked two good trails around the Loweswater area on the Saturday.
