Search Dog Sky clocks up 10 years service

During 2019, Search Dog Skye clocked up 10 years as a graded Search Dog with the Association. Currently the oldest operational Search Dog in the Lakes (and probably the UK), she typifies the type of dog Association is proud to have, and illustrates the standard of care and wellbeing that we aim to achieve with all of our dogs. With her handler John Leadbetter, she is one of three dogs working with Kendal MRT. Gentle, hardworking, loved by all who meet her, and now coming towards the end of an illustrious career, she has competition from the new pup in the household, Jura.
